aherm, so yeah. I don't even know if this topic is on the right board, but yeah. Basically, I go to the control pannel, click on add or remove programs, and a message pops up saying something like: "Your add or remove programs has been restricted. Check with your administrator for details." The hilarious thing is, I am my administrator.. :P
So yeah, since I knew this place was full of computer geeks, I was hoping someone could help me out here. I've tried googling (my best friend for things like this), but everything that came up had to do with regedit in some way, and as stupid as I might be, I'm not stupid enough to go plowing through that mess.
Any help would be appreciated.
I assume you are using XP? Okay I can't remember the fix, but here's what you need to ask. Go to www.microsoft.com and type the message you receive in the search box and you'll find your answer.
